Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tysoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and T Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Rex checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Tysoon takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Tysoon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tysoon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tysoon showed some decent athleticism there.
Rex is trying to stand back up but Tysoon is controlling him
Tysoon uses his free foot to push down on Rex's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rex.

Tysoon looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rex bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tysoon has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Rex doesn't defend quickly enough and Tysoon has managed to lock this one up! Can Rex escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Tysoon on a fantastic submission victory.
