Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Pasquier (ranked 3040 p4p, 25873 weight class) and Rodney Farva (ranked 316 p4p, 532 weight class). Pasquier comes to the cage accompanied by Walk. The key to victory for Gabriel Pasquier has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gabriel Pasquier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rodney Farva! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Farva fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Farva fails to land the takedown. Farva tries for a takedown but Pasquier circles away easily and Pasquier counters with a nice uppercut.
 It looks like Rodney Farva has been cut. Gabriel Pasquier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodney Farva. Farva shoots in for a takedown but Pasquier shows good takedown defense. Farva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pasquier swivels and escapes.
Farva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Farva tries to score with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pasquier parries the strikes from Farva easily there. Farva is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pasquier to escape.

Pasquier pushes Farva away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Farva gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Farva landing strikes. Farva creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Pasquier knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Farva on the ground. Pasquier takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Farva lands a decent elbow from side control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rodney Farva dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rodney Farva's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Farva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pasquier but Pasquier pushes him off and we're back to square one. Farva blocks a head kick by Pasquier.
Farva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Pasquier connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pasquier cracks Farva with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pasquier has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Farva to stand back up!
Pasquier feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Farva sprawling to the canvas! Farva rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pasquier finish him?!
 Farva is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pasquier throws an uppercut from hell that sends Farva clean off his feet! He's out cold! Pasquier stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gabriel Pasquier!
