Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson McKenzie (ranked 2979 p4p, 2581 weight class) and Jimmy Fallon (ranked 315 p4p, 274 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenzie steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fallon.

Fallon parries the strikes from McKenzie easily there. McKenzie is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Fallon to escape.
McKenzie throws an elbow but Fallon slips to the side and avoids it well.

McKenzie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

McKenzie keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Fallon's head.
McKenzie throws an elbow that misses. Fallon uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McKenzie's guard. Nice move by Fallon!
Fallon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
McKenzie is trying to control the position from the bottom.
McKenzie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fallon is aware though and is defending well.

McKenzie wants to sweep here but Fallon controlling him for the moment.

McKenzie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fallon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fallon is posturing up here but McKenzie has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Fallon tries to roll out but it's too tight and Fallon has to tap! Slick submission there by McKenzie!
