Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tapad Amiga (ranked 23433 p4p, 23185 weight class) and Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Clifford Val Salvacion enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 43 - 87 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 39 - 94 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Amiga avoids it really well and circles away. Amiga appears to be looking for a big counter. Amiga shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion shows good takedown defense. Salvacion replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Amiga blocks it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Amiga quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Amiga shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Amiga was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Salvacion tries to buck Amiga off but Amiga is having none of it. Amiga throwing shots but missing, from side control. Amiga working away. Amiga scores with punches from side control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Who's going to make the next move? Salvacion is trying to control Amiga's posture but Amiga avoids it. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Salvacion seems a little lost for a moment, as Amiga dominates the positioning. Amiga working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Amiga. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Amiga fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion avoids it really well and circles away. And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Amiga manages to step out the way in time.
Amiga gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Salvacion being controlled here momentarily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion content to stall in guard here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tapad Amiga dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Amiga.
Salvacion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Amiga was covering up waiting for the punch and Salvacion finishes the takedown easily into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga pulls Salvacion in close to prevent any damage.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion won't allow Amiga to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Salvacion's corner is telling him to maintain position. Amiga controlling Salvacion's posture.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Salvacion showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Clifford Val Salvacion has got the better of the ground game so far. Let's hope that Salvacion has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Amiga or perhaps it was just good defense by Salvacion, which made it look bad. Amiga shoots in and drives through. Salvacion sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tapad Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him. Salvacion shoots in but no luck this time. Amiga is looking to counter with a body kick. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Amiga throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Salvacion's waist but Salvacion gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Amiga off to one side.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Amiga looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Amiga is trying to control the action in half guard but Salvacion is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Amiga performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Salvacion is looking to control Amiga's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Salvacion avoid being mounted? And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Clifford Val Salvacion will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Salvacion seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Salvacion showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Amiga keeping moving, preventing Salvacion from controlling successfully.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Salvacion looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Amiga shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Salvacion manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Salvacion is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Clifford Val Salvacion. I think Salvacion has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
