Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Johns (ranked 3968 p4p, 2262 weight class) and Chrissy Moltisanti (ranked 307 p4p, 191 weight class). John Johns has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Johns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chrissy Moltisanti! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Johns. Moltisanti does a little dance to reset his feet. Johns misses with an uppercut. Moltisanti is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. A decent looking cross lands there for Moltisanti. Johns throws a jab when Moltisanti was well out of range. Moltisanti's jab looks to have found its range, popping Johns under the eye. Nice uppercut lands for Johns. That snapped Moltisanti's head back.
Moltisanti slips under a jab. Johns tries a low kick but Moltisanti avoids it. Moltisanti lands a really nice looking cross but Johns seems unphased.
Johns misses with a combination
and Moltisanti counters with a shoot takedown. Johns fights it but they end up in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johns is trying to control the position but Moltisanti postures up. Moltisanti is fighting to break Johns's control of his arms but Johns is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Moltisanti trying to control but Johns is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johns tries to land a sweep but no joy.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Moltisanti trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Johns is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Moltisanti pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Johns is keeping the position for now. Moltisanti keeps trying to improve his position.
Moltisanti drops back looking for a leg! Johns is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Johns manages to kick Moltisanti off! Moltisanti jumps back into Johns's guard.
Moltisanti drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Johns manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Moltisanti has Johns in his guard.
Johns throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Moltisanti works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Moltisanti looking for a guillotine here but Johns defends easily.
Moltisanti keeping moving, preventing Johns from controlling successfully.
Johns got a little sloppy there for a moment and Moltisanti has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johns has managed to get both his arms back between Moltisanti's legs - danger averted. Johns throwing strikes but missing.
Moltisanti looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Moltisanti looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Johns is defending well. Moltisanti quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Johns has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Moltisanti celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
