Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between August Valkyrie (ranked 1137 p4p, 850 weight class) and Nicholas Sartre (ranked 135 p4p, 99 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, August Valkyrie ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nicholas Sartre! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid leg kick lands there for Sartre.
Valkyrie on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Sartre misses with an uppercut. A slow jab from Valkyrie misses its intended target. Sartre swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Valkyrie slips a straight right by Sartre. Sartre slips a jab from Valkyrie . A telegraphed right hand from Sartre misses the target. Valkyrie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sartre throws a sloppy head kick and Valkyrie moves out of range easily. Sartre swats away the attempt to clinch by Valkyrie . We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sartre scores with a leg kick.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Sartre throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Valkyrie throws a right hand that misses
and Valkyrie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Sartre getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Sartre moves out of range as Valkyrie strikes. Nicholas Sartre is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Valkyrie takes a swing at Sartre's ribcage but misses.
Valkyrie has Sartre up against the cage in a clinch.
Valkyrie changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sartre fights it off and pushes away nicely.
A low kick from Sartre misses
and Valkyrie counters with a nice double leg into guard. Valkyrie is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Valkyrie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sartre wants to sweep here but Valkyrie controlling him for the moment.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Valkyrie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sartre swivels though and keeps the full guard. Valkyrie lands a couple of elbows. Valkyrie lands a couple of decent looking shots. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sartre is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Valkyrie defends well. Valkyrie connects with a couple of short punches. Valkyrie trying to control but Sartre is working from the bottom.
Valkyrie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Valkyrie in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Sartre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Valkyrie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Valkyrie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sartre's guard. Valkyrie throwing shots but Sartre is blocking nicely. Valkyrie throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Valkyrie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sartre does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Valkyrie throws a strike but Sartre avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Sartre is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Valkyrie passes Sartre's left leg - he's now in half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Valkyrie connects with a nice short shot to Sartre's temple. Valkyrie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sartre with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Valkyrie throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Valkyrie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sartre's head.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Valkyrie is controlling the pace.
Sartre is trying to maintain the position but Valkyrie is very close to passing his half guard. Valkyrie thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Valkyrie throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Sartre is looking for a sweep. Valkyrie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sartre looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Sartre is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Valkyrie pulls his head out easily. Valkyrie prevents Sartre from improving his position.
 That's five minutes gone in the round. Sartre is pressing down on Valkyrie 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Valkyrie throwing strikes from guard but Sartre blocks nicely. Valkyrie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Valkyrie postures up in Sartre's guard and throws a big left but Sartre blocks it. Valkyrie working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Valkyrie preventing the sweep. Valkyrie scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Valkyrie stands and throws Sartre's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sartre is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Valkyrie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
 That's six minutes gone in the round. Valkyrie wants to control but Sartre is keeping him busy. Valkyrie working away. Sartre is not content to let Valkyrie control the position. Valkyrie in side control lands a decent elbow.
Valkyrie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Valkyrie wants to take a breather but Sartre manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Valkyrie .
 That's seven minutes gone in the round. Valkyrie tries to free his leg and advance position but Sartre is retaining full guard. Valkyrie is looking to work some ground and pound but Sartre has wrist control. Valkyrie trying to control the position from guard on top but Sartre is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Valkyrie is really struggling to control Sartre but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Valkyrie throws a sloppy strike and Sartre has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Valkyrie is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Sartre!
