Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zafir Farman (ranked 56 p4p, 67 weight class) and James River (ranked 4 p4p, 6 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

River throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Farman tried to counter with a leg kick but River avoided it.
River lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
River jabs Farman to the body, keeping him at a distance.
James River seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Farman slips under a jab.
River throws a hook but Farman avoids it easily.
It looked like Farman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Farman keeps the fight on the outside.
River sizes up Farman with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
River throws a poor cross that misses
and Farman counters with a nice uppercut.

and Farman counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks River out cold! What a finish! Farman is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
