Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alois Vrana (ranked 1341 p4p, 1174 weight class) and Okoro Igwe (ranked 170 p4p, 155 weight class). Alois Vrana has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alois Vrana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Okoro Igwe!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Igwe lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice shot lands for Igwe.
Vrana connects with a nice looking jab.
Vrana changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Vrana's jab looks to have found its range, popping Igwe under the eye.
Igwe shoots for a double leg takedown but Vrana sprawls well. He's pushed Igwe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Vrana connects with a single shot there.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

We've been told by Vrana's head coaches at Brloh that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Vrana looks to land a combination. Igwe sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Igwe tries to clinch up but Vrana circles away and keeps his distance.

It looked like Vrana wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Vrana tries to clinch but Igwe moves away
so Igwe counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Vrana wants to stand up but Igwe is controlling him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Igwe controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Vrana will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Vrana wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Igwe manages to pass to side control.

Igwe wants to control but Vrana is keeping him busy.
Igwe wants to work for an arm triangle but Vrana is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Igwe is looking to advance position but Vrana won't allow it.

Vrana makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Vrana shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Vrana catches Igwe with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Igwe blocks a jab.
Igwe loads up on a big right hand but Vrana slips the punch.
A quick step to the side and Vrana tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Alois Vrana is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Igwe scores with a jab. Vrana acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Igwe closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Vrana! Igwe dives in looking to finish! Vrana is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
