Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammond avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Li tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Li has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Hammond lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Li backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Li tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hammond paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hammond gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Li counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Hammond!

Li thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Li tries for a kimura but Hammond is defending well.

Li has hold of Hammond's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hammond seems comfortable defending it but Li has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hammond is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hammond is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Li couldn't care less - he's delighted!
