Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Bernard Ramsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lars Gunnar Ekberg!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramsey throws a head kick that misses.
Ekberg is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Ramsey with a body shot.
Ramsey lands a slapping body shot.
Ramsey connects with a solid leg kick.
Ekberg looks for a takedown but Ramsey sprawls well.
Ramsey throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ekberg has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A nice leg kick from Ramsey, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ramsey lands a big head kick that sends Ekberg tumbling to the mat! Ramsey takes a step backwards and waves Ekberg back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ekberg is rocked!
It looks like Lars Gunnar Ekberg has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ekberg tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ramsey defends well and Ekberg ends up having to push Ramsey into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ekberg is still on wobbly legs! Can Ramsey finish him?
OH! Ekberg has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Ramsey smells blood and charges in for the finish! Ramsey unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Ekberg sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bernard Ramsey!
After winning the bout, Bernard Ramsey thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
