Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bo Duran (ranked 1 p4p, 143 weight class) and Takehiko Hidaka (ranked 1 p4p, 23 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Duran might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to This Could be Anywhere in the World. Bo Duran has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Hidaka connects with an inside leg kick.
Hidaka does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Takehiko Hidaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duran uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hidaka.
Duran appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Hidaka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Duran swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Duran avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Duran has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
