Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Luciano (ranked 2087 p4p, 2182 weight class) and Huolilong Li (ranked 236 p4p, 244 weight class). Li has chosen MADE IN CHINA as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Huolilong Li was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles Luciano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Huolilong Li!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Li looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Luciano moves in looking to clinch but Li pushes him off.
A little jabbing left from Li on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Luciano shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Li defends it nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Li! But no joy.
Li stuffs the takedown.
Li appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Li stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Li wants it to stay on the feet.
Li is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Luciano with a body shot.

Li throws out a counter right but Luciano avoids it with no problem.

It looks like Charles Luciano has been cut.

Luciano changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Li tries to avoid it but Luciano manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Li to the ground. Li escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Luciano shoots in and drives through. Li sprawls well.
Luciano misses with a takedown attempt - Li sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Luciano looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

and Li counters with a left to the body.
Luciano is breathing heavily.
Luciano has his takedown stuffed
and Li counters with a nice right hand that sends Luciano toppling to the canvas! Luciano scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Li finish him?!
Luciano is rocked!

A relieved looking Huolilong Li thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
