Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Sokolov (ranked 792 p4p, 990 weight class) and Jimmy Logan (ranked 94 p4p, 116 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Logan's choice of entrance music: The Wizard. On his way into the cage it seems that Sergei Sokolov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sergei Sokolov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sergei Sokolov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Logan!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Logan throws a right hand that misses
and Sokolov counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Logan controls Sokolov momentarily but Sokolov frees himself.

Sokolov wants to control from the top but Logan keeps moving.
Sokolov is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Logan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Logan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sokolov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sokolov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Logan was well out of range. Poor timing from Sokolov.
Logan's corner calls for a 1-2. Logan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Sokolov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Logan tries to avoid it but Sokolov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Logan to the ground. Logan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Logan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sokolov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sokolov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Logan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Logan stuns Sokolov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sokolov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Logan can pounce on him.
Logan gets caught flat footed, as Sokolov shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

I would just about give that final round to Jimmy Logan.
