The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melamed rushes Vailine and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Melamed lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Vailine backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Melamed creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Melamed lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
It looks like Siopepa Vailine has been cut.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Melamed.
Vailine throws a knee to the head but misses.
Melamed throws a big uppercut that drops Vailine! More strikes from Melamed and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Vailine lies dazed against the cage as Melamed celebrates with his cornermen!
