Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akhmad Sadulayev (ranked 2418 p4p, 3101 weight class) and Miles Fox (ranked 274 p4p, 326 weight class). Akhmad Sadulayev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Akhmad Sadulayev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miles Fox!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox tries to keep at a distance but Sadulayev has taken the fight into the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Sadulayev.
Sadulayev lands with a short shot to the head.
Fox blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Fox tries a body shot but Sadulayev blocks it.
A short right from Sadulayev.
Sadulayev has a couple of punches blocked by Fox.
Sadulayev misses with a punch on the inside.
Fox has Sadulayev pressed against the cage.
Sadulayev gets control of Fox's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sadulayev will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fox tries to free his leg and advance position but Sadulayev is retaining full guard.

Sadulayev seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Fox stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sadulayev swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fox looking to sit in guard and control but Sadulayev gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Sadulayev pushes down on Fox's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Fox is trying to maintain the position but Sadulayev is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fox regains full guard. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sadulayev wants to pass to mount but Fox is defending the position.
Fox is looking to control Sadulayev's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fox avoid being mounted?
Still in half guard, Sadulayev seems content to control.
Sadulayev lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Fox tries to get to full guard but Sadulayev has control of the leg.
Fox is trying to control but can't.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fox makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fox.
Sadulayev missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Sadulayev has taken the fight to the clinch.

Fox manages to break the clinch.
Fox throws a head kick that Sadulayev semi-blocks.

Sadulayev goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Fox buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fox gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sadulayev.
Fox throws a looping overhand right but Sadulayev ducks down to avoid it.

Fox throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Sadulayev lands with an uppercut that bounces Fox off the cage and back into range.
Sadulayev sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Danga de danga de dang - Fox scores with a four punch combination!
Sadulayev fails in his attempt to clinch.
Fox tries a quick counter leg kick but Sadulayev is wise to it.
Fox throws the left hand but Sadulayev avoids the punch easily.
Miles Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fox lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sadulayev's sensitive parts.
Fox throws a leg kick that is checked
and Sadulayev counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sadulayev takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Sadulayev is looking to counter the offense by Fox and move into the clinch.

Sadulayev seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Fox lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sadulayev at a distance.
Fox works Sadulayev's body with a nice hook.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sadulayev uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fox.
Sadulayev takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Fox swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fox doesn't manage to clinch there - Sadulayev circles away.
Fox throws a jab when Sadulayev was well out of range.
Sadulayev is looking to counter punch.
Sadulayev swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fox lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
It looks like Akhmad Sadulayev has been cut.
Fox lands a left and a right that send Sadulayev crashing to the mat, dazed. Fox thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Sadulayev is rocked!

Fox has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Sadulayev stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Fox.
Fox comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Miles Fox seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Fox lands a nice looking body shot.
Sadulayev walks into a left hand.
A solid body kick from Fox.
Fox scores with a leg kick.
Fox drops Sadulayev with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sadulayev looks back up at him and smiles so Fox waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Sadulayev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sadulayev gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Fox points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Sadulayev wakes up just in time to hear Fox thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Miles Fox!
