Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Tucker (ranked 2546 p4p, 2382 weight class) and Rhashaun Kinkead (ranked 317 p4p, 305 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, George Tucker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rhashaun Kinkead! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinkead ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tucker moves away. Tucker has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kinkead.
Tucker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kinkead, pushing him back against the ropes. Kinkead is defending well against a takedown attempt. Tucker has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kinkead after a bit of a struggle.
Kinkead is trying to trip Tucker. He has hold of a leg but Tucker is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kinkead persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Kinkead passes Tucker's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Tucker wants to control but Kinkead is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kinkead content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Kinkead seems to be looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kinkead trying to pass the guard but Tucker defending well.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Tucker trying to control but Kinkead postures up.

Kinkead wants to free his trapped foot but Tucker is holding on for dear life with his legs.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tucker tries to roll over but Kinkead keeps him under control. Tucker slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Tucker keeping full guard, as Kinkead tries to pass. Tucker is trying to keep Kinkead in close.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Kinkead trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Kinkead sitting in guard, not really doing much.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Kinkead feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kinkead passes into half guard.
Kinkead is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tucker is refusing to be controlled, as Kinkead sits in half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Tucker tries to get to full guard but Kinkead has control of the leg. Kinkead is trying to control. Tucker wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kinkead prevents Tucker from improving his position. Tucker is trying to control but can't.
Kinkead looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tucker is staying active underneath Kinkead, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Tucker trying to control but Kinkead postures up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rhashaun Kinkead dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kinkead fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tucker checks it well. Kinkead looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kinkead moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Tucker darts in trying to clinch
and Kinkead counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kinkead trying to pass the guard but Tucker defending well. Tucker trying to control from the bottom.

Kinkead is working away from the top position though. Kinkead is keen to just control but Tucker is a slippery customer.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kinkead keeps the fight on the outside. Kinkead throws a sloppy head kick and Tucker moves out of range easily. George Tucker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kinkead throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tucker wants to clinch. Kinkead shoots in for a takedown but Tucker shows good takedown defense.
Tucker clinches up with Kinkead and pushes him back against the ropes. Tucker prevents the takedown attempt.

Tucker wants to sweep but no luck. Kinkead trying to control but Tucker is working from the bottom.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Tucker looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Tucker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kinkead is one step ahead there. Kinkead trying to control but Tucker is working from the bottom. Tucker tries to land a sweep but no joy.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tucker working a defensive guard here.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Kinkead swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tucker counters with a good low kick that Kinkead was not able to check. Kinkead throws a head kick that misses. Tucker is looking to counter punch. A head kick from Kinkead lands but Tucker takes it in his stride. Kinkead swings widly with a right hand
and Tucker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
 It looks like Rhashaun Kinkead has been cut.
Tucker closes the distance and pushes Kinkead back into the ropes. Tucker is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Kinkead gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Kinkead has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tucker avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. George Tucker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rhashaun Kinkead. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tucker drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Rhashaun Kinkead showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Rhashaun Kinkead's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Tucker avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Tucker tries to clinch but Kinkead moves out of range. An inside leg kick from Kinkead misses. It looked like Tucker wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Kinkead shoots in looking for a takedown. Tucker tries to sprawl out of it but Kinkead keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Tucker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. George Tucker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rhashaun Kinkead. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. An attempted straight right counter from Tucker misses the target. We've been told by Tucker's head coaches at Canadian Elite Bruins Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Tucker tries to close the distance and clinch but Kinkead swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kinkead with the counter takedown but Tucker avoids it easily. Kinkead dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A big right from Tucker misses. Kinkead throws a nice head kick!

Kinkead tries to score a body lock takedown but Tucker shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Kinkead looking for a takedown. Kinkead gets underhooks to prevent Tucker's takedown attempt.
Tucker is pressed up against the ropes. Kinkead has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tucker down to the mat. Tucker avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Rhashaun Kinkead is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Tucker tries to clinch there but Kinkead circles away.
Tucker moves in looking to clinch but Kinkead pushes him off. Tucker wants to clinch. Kinkead tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tucker is looking to clinch. Kinkead tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tucker defends well and Kinkead ends up having to push Tucker into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kinkead lands a nice looking body shot.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Tucker enables Kinkead to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tucker manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Tucker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tucker trying to keep a closed guard but Kinkead is proving a slippery customer.
Rhashaun Kinkead has got the better of the ground game so far. Tucker is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kinkead is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Kinkead controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Tucker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kinkead wants to control from the top but Tucker keeps moving.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Kinkead postures up.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kinkead sitting in guard, not really doing much.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Kinkead with a poor takedown and Tucker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tucker doesn't manage to clinch there - Kinkead circles away.
Kinkead buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Good shot there by Kinkead. Kinkead shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tucker as he avoids it easily. A little feinted left hand from Tucker on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tucker checks a leg kick. George Tucker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kinkead misses with a hook.
And that's the end of the fight! Rhashaun Kinkead comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kinkead winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
