Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 23447 p4p, 23408 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 50 - 76 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 69 - 58 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Buut fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Buktot to the ground. Buut is now in Buktot's guard.
Buktot seems keen to control Buut's posture.
Buut seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Buut shoots in looking for a takedown. Buktot tries to sprawl out of it but Buut keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buktot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It appears Buktot was looking to counter with a kick there.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Buut shoots in for a takedown but Buktot shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut.

And Buktot counters with a quick kick to the body but Buut blocks it.
Buut shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Buktot sprawls well. Buktot wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Buut gets slowly back to his feet.
Buktot went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
