Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Jcool (ranked 23703 p4p, 5056 weight class) and Konnor Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jcool comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. Gordon has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Abdul Jcool has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jcool.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jcool seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gordon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Gordon manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Jcool keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Jcool throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Konnor Gordon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

We've been told by Jcool's head coaches at Cozad MMA Tokyo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jcool shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gordon as he avoids it easily.
Jcool shoots in for a double leg but Gordon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Jcool changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gordon tries to avoid it but Jcool manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gordon to the ground. Gordon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gordon throws a right hand that Jcool ducks under and follows up with a left that Jcool also avoids with ease.

Jcool closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gordon's guard.

Jcool drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Jcool as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Gordon screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Jcool! Nice submission victory there!

A very excited looking Abdul Jcool rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
