Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Artemis Entreri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Erasmo Vale Queiroz!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vale Queiroz goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Artemis Entreri has been cut.
Entreri lands a nice hook to Vale Queiroz's body. Vale Queiroz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Vale Queiroz lands a nice looking body shot.
Vale Queiroz closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Erasmo Vale Queiroz has been cut.
Vale Queiroz avoids the body shot from Entreri.
Entreri throws a lazy right hand but Vale Queiroz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Entreri connects with a leg kick.
Vale Queiroz avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Entreri misses with an uppercut
and Vale Queiroz counters with a stiff right hand.
Artemis Entreri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Entreri misses with a shot to the body
and Vale Queiroz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Entreri throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vale Queiroz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Entreri misses with a shot to the body
and Vale Queiroz counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A head kick from Vale Queiroz lands but Entreri takes it in his stride.
Entreri is rocked!
Entreri throws a lazy uppercut
and Vale Queiroz counters with a nice body shot.
Oh Entreri is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Entreri throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vale Queiroz counters with a nice low kick that buckles Entreri's knee momentarily.
Entreri is breathing heavily.
A jab from Entreri misses.
Vale Queiroz scoring well with a low kick there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Entreri crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vale Queiroz - the referee stops the clock and Entreri gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vale Queiroz. Entreri manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Vale Queiroz fakes the body blow, causing Entreri to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Entreri goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Erasmo Vale Queiroz!
During a confident post fight interview, Erasmo Vale Queiroz thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Artemis Entreri stepped up to the mic, saying 'Nice shot man, we'll roll it back some time.'.
