Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kaka Blue (ranked 3311 p4p, 23856 weight class) and Rasmus Reedtz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaka Blue has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kaka Blue! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rasmus Reedtz! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice straight punches there by Reedtz. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Reedtz. Blue fails with a takedown attempt. Reedtz with a nice cross. Reedtz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Reedtz wants it to stay on the feet. Reedtz fails to land with a series of punches.
Blue takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Reedtz thuds a left hand into Blue's body. Blue moves forwards but Reedtz connects with a nice, crisp jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Reedtz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Blue is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Reedtz is just riding it out for now. Blue eventually gives up the hold.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Blue is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Reedtz has managed to free his arm - good work. Reedtz is trying to get back to full guard. Reedtz trying to hold on to Blue's head to control him but Blue postures up.

Blue jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle�. Ooooh, that looks tight� Reedtz is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Reedtz and Blue has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Blue is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Reedtz has escaped the position, nice work there.
Blue thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Blue is trying to move to mount but Reedtz reverses beautifully and ends up in Blue's guard. Reedtz working some strikes from top position.
Blue escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reedtz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Blue has momentary wrist control but Reedtz slips an elbow through the middle.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Reedtz is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Reedtz scoring with some ground and pound. Blue is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at 3Band MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reedtz stands up over Blue, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Uppercuts and crosses smash into Blue's face. Blue staggers backwards, shaken. Blue shoots in and drives through. Reedtz sprawls well. Reedtz connects with a crisp jab. Blue takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Reedtz goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Blue takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Reedtz stalks Blue and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Blue's face. Blue staggers backwards, shaken. Blue goes for a double leg but Reedtz avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Reedtz continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kaka Blue. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blue tries for a takedown. No joy.

Reedtz lands on the inside with an uppercut. Blue is trying to drag Reedtz to the mat but Reedtz just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Reedtz taking a breather. Reedtz has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A short left from Reedtz. Blue has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Reedtz after a bit of a struggle. Blue is looking for a takedown. Reedtz gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Blue.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Reedtz scores with a nice hook to the head. Reedtz lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Blue backwards. Blue fails to pull the fight into his guard.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Blue takes a knee to the side of the body. Blue's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!  That's three minutes gone in the round. Reedtz digs a right hand underneath Blue's ribcage. Blue let out a lung full of air as it connected. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Reedtz creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Blue drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Reedtz gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Blue has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Reedtz avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Reedtz lands with a short head shot on the inside. Reedtz avoiding damage.

Reedtz's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Blue has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Reedtz finds it's way round the side to connect with Blue's head. Blue takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Blue shoots for a takedown but Reedtz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Reedtz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Blue. Blue walks into a jab. Blue fails with a takedown attempt. Reedtz bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Blue's head backwards. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Blue gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Reedtz looks to land a combination but Blue avoids it well. Blue tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Reedtz swivels and escapes. Reedtz fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Blue fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Reedtz avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kaka Blue. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blue dodges the punch combination from Reedtz.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Reedtz bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Blue's head backwards. Blue looks for a takedown but Reedtz sprawls well. Reedtz works Blue's body with a nice hook. Reedtz might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Blue shoots and misses and Reedtz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Reedtz moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Reedtz throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Nice uppercut there from Reedtz. Blue looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Reedtz ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Nice shot lands for Reedtz. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jab from Reedtz. Reedtz lands a lovely overhand right.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Blue shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reedtz as he jumps to the side. Reedtz works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Blue has his takedown stuffed and Reedtz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Reedtz swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Blue. Reedtz jabs Blue right on the nose. Blue blinks but takes it well. A left lands for Reedtz. Blue takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Reedtz with the inside leg kick. Blue takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Blue gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Reedtz dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Blue. That did some damage! Reedtz takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Nice sprawl there from Reedtz as Blue shoots in. Reedtz lunges at Blue with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Blue's hand. Blue gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Blue tries for a takedown but Reedtz circles away easily and Reedtz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Left hook, right uppercut from Reedtz.
 Blue is rocked! Reedtz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Oh Blue is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action!
Blue shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Reedtz napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Blue goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Reedtz rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Blue's guard! Nice work there by Reedtz! Reedtz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Blue seems to have got his legs back now.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Reedtz chips away with some ground and pound. Reedtz looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Reedtz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Blue's guard. Reedtz controlling the action here. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Reedtz lands strikes from half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Rasmus Reedtz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Reedtz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Rasmus Reedtz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
