Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kai Kixx (ranked 4610 p4p, 3860 weight class) and Dill Pickles (ranked 277 p4p, 242 weight class). Dill Pickles told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dill Pickles!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kixx lands with a slapping head kick.
Pickles shoots in looking for a takedown but Kixx manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pickles's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Pickles on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kixx throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Pickles's head.

Our spies down at at Canucks Combat Club inform us that Pickles has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Kixx has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Pickles to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kixx is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Pickles pulls down on the head and he's put Kixx to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Dill Pickles!
In his post fight interview, Dill Pickles gave a big smile as he said 'Nice'.
