Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ario Marjo (ranked 3817 p4p, 3839 weight class) and Cas Jansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marjo shoots and misses
and Jansen counters with a two punch combo.
Marjo clinches.
Marjo avoids the elbow strike from Jansen, against the cage.
Marjo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Jansen tries to stand but Marjo is controlling from the bottom.
Marjo throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Jansen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Marjo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jansen's guard.
Marjo is standing up over Jansen. Jansen looks to escape but Marjo dives into side control.
Jansen tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Marjo controlling the position well here. Jansen rolled but Marjo kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Marjo is riding his opponent, not letting Jansen buck him off.
Jansen is trying to get back to his feet but Marjo has full control of the position and if anything, Jansen has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Marjo has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Jansen's body.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marjo really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Jansen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jansen is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Marjo gets his way!
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Marjo.

Marjo closes the distance and clinches.
Marjo is trying to pull guard but Jansen has him pressed against the cage.
Marjo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Jansen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ario Marjo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jansen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Marjo momentarily.

Jansen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Marjo is breathing heavily.
Jansen walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Marjo drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Jansen swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Marjo's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cas Jansen!
During a confident post fight interview, Cas Jansen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
