Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Bengan Bengtsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyson King!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bengtsson jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
King takes a swing at Bengtsson's ribcage but misses.
Bengtsson tries to land a front kick but King steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
King walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bengtsson.
King jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bengtsson scoring well with a low kick there.
King closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bengtsson's guard.
Bengtsson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells King's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Bengtsson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
King won't allow Bengtsson to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bengtsson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
King takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

King steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Bengtsson.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

King thows a huge punch but Bengtsson dodges it nicely.

King takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
King throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Bengtsson to regain full guard.
Bengtsson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bengtsson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. King manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as King takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Bengtsson walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Bengtsson limp body while King jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
