With a record of 39 - 65 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fedor Mazepin!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazepin shoots for a double leg takedown but Gayweather sprawls well. He's pushed Mazepin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mazepin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gayweather counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Gayweather lands a big shot that drops Mazepin! Can he finish him?
Gayweather connects with a couple of short punches.
That has opened up Fedor Mazepin's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gayweather stays in close to Mazepin's body and controls the position.
Mazepin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gayweather is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mazepin.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
