Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Leary (ranked 443 p4p, 950 weight class) and Kyle Bush (ranked 37 p4p, 83 weight class). Bush has chosen Soemthing in the way as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, James Leary! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Bush! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bush fails with the takedown. Leary scores with a jab to the jaw. Kyle Bush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bush misses with a combination
and Leary cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've been told by Leary's head coaches at Bowsh Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bush. Bush shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Leary counters with a stiff right hand. James Leary has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Bush.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bush tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Leary swivels and escapes. A counter left hand to the body from Leary misses its target. Leary throws a hook to the side of Bush's head but Bush sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bush has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Bush misses with the body kick and Leary cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bush shoots in looking for a takedown. Leary tries to sprawl out of it but Bush keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Leary manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Leary swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Bush throws a series of punches but Leary moves out of range. Bush misses with a takedown and Leary counters with a stiff right hand. James Leary is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Leary leaves Bush with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bush fails with the takedown letting Leary counter with a right hand. Bush looks to throw a body kick letting Leary counter with a right hand. Bush throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Leary's waist but Leary gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bush off to one side. Bush shoots in for a takedown but Leary shows good takedown defense. An attempted straight right counter from Leary misses the target.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Leary avoids the head kick by Bush.
Leary is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Bush will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bush misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Leary thinks about countering with a body kick. Leary scores with a jab. Bush acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
 Bush is rocked! Bush tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nice sprawl there from Leary as Bush shoots in.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Bush shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Leary counters with a stiff right hand. Bush is still on wobbly legs! Can Leary finish him? Bush misses with a takedown and Leary makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Bush seems to have recovered his senses. Leary is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Bush throws a sloppy head kick and Leary moves out of range easily. Bush shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Leary sprawls well. Leary wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bush gets slowly back to his feet. Leary throwing a counter right hand but Bush manages to avoid it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bush throws a left and a right that both miss
and Leary counters with a body kick that stops Bush in his tracks momentarily. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
James Leary dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Leary misses the jab. Bush shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Leary as he avoids it easily. Leary throws a quick counter kick to the body but Bush avoids it. Kyle Bush is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Bush. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bush is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Leary is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Leary is trying to control Bush's posture but Bush avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leary tries to get back to half guard but can't.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bush wants to control but Leary is keeping him busy.
Bush is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Leary knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bush is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Leary has escaped the position, nice work there.
Bush tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bush has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Leary wants to control but Bush postures up. Bush tries to advance position but instead Leary slips a leg back in to half guard. Leary on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Leary tries to get out of the position. Bush is trying to control. Leary wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bush uses his free foot to push down on Leary's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Leary. Leary tries to hold on but Bush pushes him away. Bush throws some wild stikes that Leary manages to avoid easily.
Leary knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bush on the ground. Leary is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Leary is wriggling around trying to escape.
Leary wants to control but Bush is having none of it. Bush connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bush raining down shots from the mount! Bush breaks from Leary's wrist control and lands an elbow.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Leary wants to control but Bush is having none of it. Leary is trying desperately to improve position. Bush looking to control but Leary is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Bush with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Bush wants to control the pace but Leary is squirming around nicely. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bush stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Bush showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

James Leary is winning the standup battle so far. Bush tries for a takedown but Leary circles away easily and Leary counters with a nice uppercut. Bush darts in looking for a takedown but Leary gets double underhooks and turns Bush into the cage. Bush misses with a takedown attempt and Leary counters with a good, hard body kick but Bush shrugs it off. James Leary has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Bush. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bush shoots in for a double leg but Leary sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bush takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bush dives in for a single leg takedown but Leary sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Leary is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bush. Bush swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Leary counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bush with a poor takedown and Leary finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Leary is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bush can do to turn this around? Bush misses with a left hand and Leary counters with a nice uppercut. Bush misses with a takedown attempt and Leary counters with a lovely straight right hand! Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Leary! Bush is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Leary! James Leary retains his bantamweight title! A very excited looking James Leary rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
