Kozlov has chosen Я за собой см&# as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov throws a sloppy head kick and Anderson moves out of range easily.
Kozlov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Anderson was well out of range. Poor timing from Kozlov.
Anderson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kozlov ducks right into an uppercut from Anderson.
Jab, jab by Anderson - just one landing.
It looks like Vladimir Kozlov has been cut.
Kozlov throws a head kick but Anderson moves out of range.
Kozlov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Anderson was well out of range. Poor timing from Kozlov.
Vladimir Kozlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A nice leg kick lands there from Anderson.
Kozlov throws a head kick but Anderson moves out of range.
Kozlov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

A punch lands to the side of Kozlov 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Anderson fails to land with a series of punches.

Anderson looks to land a combination. Kozlov sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kozlov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Anderson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Anderson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anderson prevents Kozlov from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kozlov is not content to let Anderson control the position.

Kozlov wants to improve his position but Anderson is controlling well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Anderson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kozlov!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Anderson counters with an inside leg kick.

and Anderson counters with a good low kick that Kozlov was not able to check.
Good leg kick by Anderson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Kozlov throws a half hearted mid kick.

and Anderson counters with a slapping leg kick.
Anderson lands a nice shot that snaps Kozlov's head back.

Anderson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kozlov is trying to control the position but Anderson postures up.
Kozlov is looking to sweep but instead, Anderson has passed into half guard.
Kozlov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kozlov wants to get back to full guard but Anderson has mounted him!

Kozlov sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Anderson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Anderson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kozlov was covering up waiting for the punch and Anderson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Anderson wants to control from the top but Kozlov keeps moving.

and Anderson counters with a left and a right that stings Kozlov.
Anderson closes the distance and clinches up with Kozlov, looking for a takedown. Anderson pushes Kozlov against the cage but Kozlov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Anderson staying out of range there.
Anderson avoids the head kick by Kozlov.
Kozlov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Anderson's guard.
Anderson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Anderson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kozlov is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

and Anderson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kozlov!
Anderson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kozlov manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Kozlov throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Anderson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kozlov sneaks back into half guard.
Kozlov missing with punches from the bottom.
Kozlov avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Anderson.
Kozlov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Kozlov lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Well Anderson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
