The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Beethoven throws a sloppy head kick and Cahill moves out of range easily.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Van Beethoven.
Cahill gets a takedown into half guard.
Cahill works his way into full mount!
Van Beethoven knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cahill on the ground.
Van Beethoven tries to reverse the position but Cahill maintains control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
