Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jorgen Kruth (ranked 642 p4p, 508 weight class) and Mer Lo (ranked 57 p4p, 48 weight class). Kruth's entrance music is Black Hole Sun- Soundgarden. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Mer Lo!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing good reports from Kruth's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Lo leaves Kruth with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lo stuffs the takedown attempt from Kruth. Kruth gets slowly back to his feet.
Lo throws a hook to the side of Kruth's head but Kruth sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Lo is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kruth with a body shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lo has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kruth regains guard immediately.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Kruth is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Kruth escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Mer Lo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
