Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rhett Beltran (ranked 3714 p4p, 4476 weight class) and Bongolongo Gayman (ranked 351 p4p, 377 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rhett Beltran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bongolongo Gayman!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Steve Montenegro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gayman throws a head kick but Beltran moves out of range.
Gayman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Beltran, pushing him back against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Beltran fails to pull guard.
Gayman lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Beltran or not.
Beltran jumps guard but Gayman stands there with Beltran around his waist. Beltran gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Beltran tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rhett Beltran. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A short left from Gayman.
Gayman scores with a shot to the side of Beltran's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gayman lands a body punch.

Gayman looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The referee is keeping an eye on Gayman - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Beltran tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gayman just stands there and leans against the cage.

Gayman trying to control but Beltran is working from the bottom.

Beltran working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gayman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Beltran is tightening it up a little... Gayman has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gayman reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gayman taps out! Nice BJJ there by Beltran!
