Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ipponouchi Machihuro (ranked 4503 p4p, 3817 weight class) and Jacob Buschkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ipponouchi Machihuro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jacob Buschkin!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buschkin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Buschkin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Machihuro throws a hook to the side of Buschkin's head but Buschkin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Well, if Buschkin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Machihuro pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Buschkin misses with a wild combination.
Machihuro tried to score with a low kick but Buschkin checks it.

Buschkin clinches up against the cage.
Machihuro definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Buschkin turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Buschkin manages to end up in side control.

A close round but Jacob Buschkin will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Buschkin closes the distance and clinches up with Machihuro, looking for a takedown. Buschkin pushes Machihuro against the cage but Machihuro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ipponouchi Machihuro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Machihuro is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Buschkin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Buschkin's back!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Machihuro's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Buschkin manages to reverse the position and now he's in Machihuro's guard. Nice work there by Buschkin.

Machihuro controls Buschkin momentarily but Buschkin frees himself.
Machihuro can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Buschkin controls the pace.
Let's hope that Buschkin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Buschkin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Machihuro working for a triangle but Buschkin defends it easily.
Buschkin tries to free his leg and advance position but Machihuro is retaining full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Buschkin stands and steps away. Machihuro gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Machihuro throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
As Machihuro backs off Buschkin throws a huge counter combo but Machihuro manages to avoid it all.

Buschkin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Buschkin lands in his opponent's guard.
Buschkin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Machihuro swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jacob Buschkin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Buschkin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Machihuro tries to avoid it but Buschkin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Machihuro to the ground. Machihuro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Machihuro tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Buschkin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Machihuro on his heels. He'll look to pass Machihuro's guard now, I'm sure.

Buschkin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Machihuro is trying to control the action in half guard but Buschkin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ipponouchi Machihuro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
