Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pornthonglek Sitsongrit!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Luuk Benjamin!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sitsongrit throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Benjamin replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Sitsongrit blocks it well.
Sitsongrit misses with a low kick.
And Benjamin responds with a good body kick, but Sitsongrit manages to step out the way in time.
Benjamin takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Sitsongrit wants to slow Benjamin down by chopping away at his legs.
Benjamin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Benjamin throws a series of punches but Sitsongrit avoids them all with ease.

Benjamin feints a jab promting Sitsongrit to slip. Benjamin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sitsongrit slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Sitsongrit goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Sitsongrit loads up on a big right hand but Benjamin slips the punch.

and Benjamin counters with a crisp one two that drops Sitsongrit! Benjamin thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sitsongrit to his feet! Sitsongrit is in big trouble!

Pornthonglek Sitsongrit's cut is getting worse.
Benjamin defending well as Sitsongrit loads up on a big left hand.
Oh Sitsongrit is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Benjamin cracks Sitsongrit with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Sitsongrit falls to his knees and Benjamin doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luuk Benjamin!
