Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Rapido Nadadora (ranked 1732 p4p, 1036 weight class) and Giang Hao (ranked 57 p4p, 58 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Giang Hao!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nadadora throws a series of punches but Hao avoids them all with ease.
Nadadora misses with a double jab.
Rapido Nadadora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hao misses with a looping right.
Hao looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nadadora lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hao circles away quickly and effectively.
Nadadora steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hao.
Nadadora misses with a wild combination.
Hao avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nadadora fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hao is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Nadadora with a body shot.

Nadadora rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hao moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

No joy there for Nadadora, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hao has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Nadadora misses with a combination
and Hao counters with a nice uppercut that drops Nadadora onto his backside! Nadadora bounces straight back to his feet before we have a chance to even start the count. He'll get the standing 8 count anyway before we get back underway.

It looks like Rapido Nadadora has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hao lands a nice shot to the body.
Hao connects with a quick right hand that sends Nadadora tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Giang Hao! Giang Hao retains his super heavyweight title!
In his post fight interview, Giang Hao started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
