Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 3748 p4p, 3272 weight class) and Sigandi Legend (ranked 413 p4p, 373 weight class). Legend has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Sigandi Legend! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Jones throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Jones wants to stand but Legend is controlling his arm. Legend looks winded! Legend tries to improve position but can't. Legend throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Jones stands up and beckons Legend to his feet.
Jones clinches with his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones gets underhooks to prevent Legend's takedown attempt.
Jones jumps into guard, dragging Legend to the mat.
Jones has his foot on Legend's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Legend works his way back into a safe position though. Jones controlling Legend's posture.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jones is trying to control the position but Legend postures up.
Jones is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jones is on top in guard.
 Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Legend on the ground. Jones wants to get up but he can't break Legend's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Jones stands up and waves to Legend to follow him. Jones closes the distance but Legend moves to the side
and Legend counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Legend.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Legend is one step ahead there.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Jones manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Jones manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Legend, which made it look bad.
Jones moves into the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Legend gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jones.
Jones gets control of Legend's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jones will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Legend makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jones keeping moving, preventing Legend from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Legend accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jones working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Legend. Jones wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Jones wants to sweep but no luck.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Legend throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Legend defends it easily. Legend is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Legend passes easily into side control. Nice work. Jones avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Legend. Legend lands a decent elbow from side control. Jones manages to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones is looking to control Legend's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted? And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Jones dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Legend quickly recovers to half guard. Jones takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Jon Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Legend flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Legend is trying to control but can't.
Jones slows the pace down in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones is looking to advance position but Legend won't allow it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Jones controlling the action here. Jones has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jones is trying to control. Legend wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Legend shoots in looking for a takedown but Jones manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Legend's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jones throws a big counter combination but Legend scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Legend is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Legend circles away and we're back to standing. Jones tries to clinch there but Legend circles away.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Legend circles away. Legend with the counter takedown but Jones avoids it easily. A chopping leg kick lands by Jones. Jon Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jones is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Legend can do to turn this around?
Jones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Jones is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Legend is aware though and is defending well. Legend landing with the ground and pound. Legend content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Legend can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Legend makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Legend wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones working a defensive guard here.
Legend keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jones's head. Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Legend with a flurry of punches that miss. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Legend is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Legend's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Legend stopping the sweep attempt from Jones.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Legend is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Legend landing some decent shots from guard. Jones striking off his back but it's not causing Legend any problems. Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Legend prevents Jones from getting back to his feet.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Legend throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Legend finishes the takedown easily into guard. Jones trying to control the position here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jon Jones will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

and Legend counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Jones is trying to maintain the position but Legend is very close to passing his half guard. Jones makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jones. Legend tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Legend has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jones is on top in guard.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Legend is retaining full guard. Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Legend gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Legend landing a few strikes. Jones tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Legend wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Jones is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Legend is putting a hurting on Jones here, landing some big shots from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Legend works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Legend in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Jones tries to buck Legend off but Legend is having none of it. Legend working the head with strikes. Jones tries to buck Legend off but Legend is having none of it. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Legend is dominant here and he's now got Jones's back!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Legend has the hooks in. Jones is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Legend cracks Jones with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Jones from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Legend stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Legend throws a big right hand that misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Legend trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Legend lands a couple of elbows.
And that's the end of the fight! Sigandi Legend comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jones has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
