With a record of 14 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ricky Alvarez!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graves is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Alvarez.
Graves thows a left - swing and a miss!

and Alvarez counters with a straight right hand.

Alvarez scores with a one two! Graves had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Graves throws a lazy right hand but Alvarez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Alvarez stalks Graves and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Graves's face. Graves staggers backwards, shaken.
Alvarez misses with a wild body shot.
Graves gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Alvarez.
Alvarez throws a one two combo.

Alvarez thumps Graves with a low kick.
Alvarez drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Alvarez misses with a jab, cross combination.
Graves misses with an uppercut. Alvarez saw that one coming.
Alvarez takes a swing at Graves's ribcage but misses.
Graves loads up on a big right hand but Alvarez slips the punch.
Alvarez tries to bum rush Graves with a series of wild strikes but Graves uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Graves tests Alvarez's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Alvarez missing with a left hand there. Graves was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A quick step to the side and Graves tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Alvarez misses with a series of wild punches.
Alvarez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
An attempted straight right counter from Graves misses the target.
Graves misses with a hook. Alvarez ducked under it nicely.
Alvarez doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Graves takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Graves is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

A combination from Alvarez does no damage.
Alvarez throws a leg kick which misses Graves's front leg but catches the back leg as Graves tries to avoid it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Graves misses the jab.
Alvarez throws a jab when Graves was well out of range.
No joy there for Alvarez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Graves drops his shoulder and cracks Alvarez with a huge uppercut! Alvarez goes down! Can Graves finish him?

Graves passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Graves is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Alvarez has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Graves has an Americana. Alvarez didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Graves is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Graves hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

After winning the bout, Deon Graves thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
