Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Soderberg shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Strakapoud as he jumps to the side. Soderberg half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Soderberg closes this distance looking for a takedown but Strakapoud circles away. Strakapoud is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Soderberg to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Soderberg shrugs it off. Strakapoud wants to take Soderberg's back here but Soderberg is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Strakapoud wants to lay and pray for a moment but Soderberg keeps working. Strakapoud might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Soderberg haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Strakapoud's guard.
