The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dadude slaps away a takedown attempt from Ryan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dadude throws out a loose jab but Ryan uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ryan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dadude is trying to defend but Ryan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Dadude is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ryan has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dadude leaves Ryan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dizzle Dadude has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Ryan.
Ryan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dadude but Dadude pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ryan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dadude's waist but Dadude gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ryan off to one side.
Ryan shoots in and drives through. Dadude sprawls well.
Ryan looks gassed!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ryan misses with a takedown attempt - Dadude sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dadude throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ryan shoots in looking for a takedown. Dadude tries to sprawl out of it but Ryan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dadude manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ryan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dadude paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Tom Ryan has been cut.
Ryan drops his hands momentarily. Dadude doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Ryan staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Ryan doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
