Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ching Chong Chongching!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ulisses Campbell!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campbell shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chongching pinned against the cage. Chongching gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Campbell slips a straight right by Chongching.
Campbell misses with an uppercut. Chongching saw that one coming.
Campbell just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromChongching.
Chongching goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Ulisses Campbell has been cut.
A combination from Chongching does no damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chongching throws an off balance right hand
and Campbell counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chongching, as that shot connected.
Chongching throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A jab lands there for Chongching.
Campbell avoids the head kick by Chongching.
Chongching ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Chongching swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Chongching works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That has opened up Ulisses Campbell's cut even more.
Campbell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chongching.
Chongching keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Campbell fails with the takedown
and Chongching counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A shot to the liver by Campbell. Beautiful body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A punch lands to the side of Campbell 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Campbell is rocked!
Campbell tries to get into range but Chongching steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Campbell! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Chongching scores the big KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ching Chong Chongching!
