Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Virgulino Lampiaun (ranked 883 p4p, 812 weight class) and Genyo Takeda (ranked 60 p4p, 56 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Genyo Takeda!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lampiaun misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A countering left hand to the body from Takeda misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lampiaun looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lampiaun closes the distance but Takeda moves to the side
and Takeda connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lampiaun drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Takeda is looking for a sweep.
Lampiaun sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Takeda is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Lampiaun works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
It looks like Genyo Takeda has been cut.
Lampiaun postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Lampiaun working the ground and pound.
That has opened up Genyo Takeda's cut even more.
Lampiaun cracks Takeda with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The cut above Genyo Takeda's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Genyo Takeda's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Virgulino Lampiaun!
