Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 34 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryant Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 29 - 2, fighting out of New York, Medieval Mercenary!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A jab from Mercenary misses.
Mercenary looks to land a right hand but Smith moved out of range.
Mercenary takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Mercenary drops his hands momentarily and Smith takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bryant Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mercenary finds it's way round the side to connect with Smith's head.
Smith cracks Mercenary with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the cage! Can Mercenary get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Mercenary looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
Mercenary is rocked!
It looks like Medieval Mercenary has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Smith throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Smith changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Mercenary is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
Mercenary misses the shot to the body.
Mercenary seems to have recovered his senses.
Smith thumps Mercenary with a low kick.
A combination from Mercenary does no damage.
Smith swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Smith lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mercenary tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A chopping leg kick lands by Smith.
Smith scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Mercenary beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Mercenary is looking to chop away at Smith's legs.
Smith walks into a stiff left hand from Mercenary.
Smith lands a right hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mercenary takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Mercenary throws a chopping leg kick but Smith manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Mercenary walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Mercenary is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
