The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Crash throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nice sprawl there from Crash as Nielsen shoots in.
Crash tries a head kick but it misses.
Nielsen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Crash's waist but Crash gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nielsen off to one side.

A close round but Richard Nielsen will probably get the nod.

Nielsen shoots for a double leg takedown but Crash sprawls well. He's pushed Nielsen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crash accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Crash decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Nielsen, up you get!
Nielsen seems to have recovered his senses.
Crash uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
