Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lamar Karter (ranked 494 p4p, 900 weight class) and Antti Railio (ranked 36 p4p, 57 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lamar Karter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Railio!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Railio throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Railio misses with a lunging right hand
and Karter counters with a left and a right that stings Railio.
Karter throws a leg kick
and Railio counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Lamar Karter has been cut.
We've been told by Karter's head coaches at Tran MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Karter scores with a jab to the body.
Railio waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Karter.
It looked like Karter was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Railio.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Railio walks into a jab.
Karter misses with an uppercut. Railio saw that one coming.

It looks like Antti Railio has been cut.
Railio drops Karter with a beautiful combination! Karter stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Railio is looking for the KO!
Karter throws a right hand that Railio ducks under and follows up with a left that Railio also avoids with ease.
Railio swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karter takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Railio stuns Karter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Karter is breathing heavily.
Railio lands a nice hook to Karter's body. Karter takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Railio fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Karter to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Karter looks to clinch but Railio throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Karter taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Antti Railio!
Antti Railio decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
