Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Carioni (ranked 454 p4p, 868 weight class) and Lutalo Masamba (ranked 56 p4p, 109 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Masamba's choice of entrance music: Conversations (Skeler Remix) - Juice WRLD. This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lutalo Masamba!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masamba uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Carioni.
Carioni lands a head shot.
It looks like Lutalo Masamba has been cut.
Carioni throws a jab but it's blocked by Masamba.
Masamba moves away from the strike by Carioni.
Carioni scores with a nice strike.
Masamba slips under a jab.
Carioni jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A combination from Carioni does no damage.

and Masamba counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Masamba looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Carioni misses with a head kick.
Carioni swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

enabling Masamba to counter with a crisp jab.
Masamba lands an overhand right.
We've been told by Carioni's head coaches at Catch Wrestling L.A. that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Carioni throws a lazy uppercut
and Carioni takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Carioni throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Masamba counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Carioni is rocked!
Carioni misses the jab.
Oh Carioni is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A chopping leg kick lands by Masamba.
Masamba throws a sloppy head kick and Carioni moves out of range easily.
Carioni seems to have got his legs back now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carioni moves away from the strike by Masamba.

Carioni throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Masamba sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Carioni misses with an uppercut. Masamba saw that one coming.
Carioni misses with a jab, cross combination.
Carioni misses with a hook
and Masamba counters with a crisp right hand that drops Carioni! Masamba lets Carioni back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Carioni throws a big shot that misses.

and Masamba counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
