Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucian Stockes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ulrich McHaggis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McHaggis comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rock Co Kane Flow kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ulrich McHaggis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stockes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. McHaggis checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
The fight stays on the outside here - McHaggis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stockes is looking to land body kicks.
Stockes stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lucian Stockes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McHaggis gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Stockes is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Stockes is trying to force a seperation but McHaggis has the dominant position.

so McHaggis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

and McHaggis holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Stockes.

McHaggis has Stockes pressed against the cage, preventing Stockes from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
McHaggis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Stockes waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract McHaggis.
McHaggis shoots in looking for a takedown. Stockes tries to sprawl out of it but McHaggis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stockes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stockes misses with a combination
and McHaggis counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Stockes!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McHaggis has hold of Stockes's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Stockes manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
McHaggis controlling the position easily from mount.
Stockes is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

McHaggis wants to control the pace but Stockes is squirming around nicely.
Stockes tries to hold on but McHaggis pushes him away.
Stockes is trying to escape the mount but McHaggis keeps good control and instead manages to take Stockes's back.
McHaggis is working for a rear naked choke. Stockes is not defending it well and McHaggis has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Stockes refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Stockes's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
