Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reñan Silva (ranked 4017 p4p, 5412 weight class) and Baki Hanma (ranked 369 p4p, 438 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by “Ak Do Flamego”. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Baki Hanma!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanma swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.
Hanma checks a leg kick.
Silva scores with a body shot.
No joy there for Hanma, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Silva tries to bum rush Hanma with a series of wild strikes but Hanma uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hanma misses with a hook.
Silva tried to counter with a leg kick but Hanma avoided it.
Hanma misses with a looping left.
Hanma throws a shot to the body.
Hanma throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Silva's head.
Hanma needs to keep his hands up - Silva had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Baki Hanma has been cut.
Hanma misses with an attempted mid kick.
Silva throws a leg kick
and Hanma connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hanma misses with a lunging right hand
and Silva counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Hanma!
Silva controls the position from side control.
Silva scoring with punches and elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hanma has escaped the position, nice work there.
Hanma wants to get back to his feet but Silva drags him back down.
Silva wants to control but Hanma is keeping him busy.
Silva looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Hanma is avoiding damage well.
Silva tries to move to mount but Hanma blocks the move with his legs.

Hanma is trying to shake Silva off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Silva won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.
Silva works Hanma's body with a nice hook.
Baki Hanma is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hanma is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Silva has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook� has he got it?? YES! Hanma is tapping! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Reñan Silva!
A relieved looking Reñan Silva thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
