Reynolds has chosen Lights Out - Bobby Light as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Savage's head backwards.
Reynolds swinging wilding here.
Reynolds tries to close the distance and clinch but Savage swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Savage darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Savage trying to mount his opponent but Reynolds defends it.
Savage is looking to take a break and control but Reynolds is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Reynolds is trying to control but can't.
Reynolds is looking for a sweep. Savage is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Reynolds is looking to escape.
Savage is pressing down on Reynolds's thigh, looking to free his foot. Reynolds is holding on for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Savage has a takedown stuffed.
Reynolds throws a right hand that Savage ducks under and follows up with a left that Savage also avoids with ease.
Reynolds misses with a two punch combination.
Reynolds lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Savage circles away from the clinch attempt.
Reynolds takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Reynolds tries to clinch but Savage is having none of it.
Savage fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Reynolds avoids it really well and circles away.

Savage has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pico Savage. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Savage walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Savage shoots for a takedown but Reynolds saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Niko Reynolds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Reynolds fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Savage, pushing him back against the cage.
Savage looking for a takedown.
Savage is breathing heavily.
Savage changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Reynolds fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Savage drops his hands momentarily and Reynolds takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Reynolds throws a series of strikes that have Savage backpedaling.

It looks like Pico Savage has been cut.

Reynolds scores with a jab. Savage acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Reynolds stuns Savage with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Reynolds lands a jab-cross combination.

Savage is rocked!
Reynolds circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Savage tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Reynolds wins by KO!
