The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington closes this distance looking for a takedown but Montanti circles away.
Montanti is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Washington.
Washington drops his hands momentarily and Montanti takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Washington fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Montanti to the ground. Washington is now in Montanti's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Montanti lands another huge swinging hook and Washington tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Washington, before Montanti can land any more shots!
