Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Tung (ranked 4995 p4p, 2283 weight class) and Kiniiii Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Timmy Tung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Kiniiii Kong!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

Tung drops Kong with a left right combo! Tung follows him down to the ground into side control.

Kong is rocked!

It looks like Kiniiii Kong has been cut.
Kong struggling a bit here.
Kong is still in real trouble! Can Tung finish him?
Kong gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Kong seems to have recovered his senses.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kong's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Timmy Tung will probably get the nod.

No joy there for Tung, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The crowd cheers as Kong lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tung doesn't seem phased though.

As Kong looks to move away, Tung throws a big counter combo but Kong just gets out of the way.

and Kong counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Timmy Tung is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kong scores with a three punch combo!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That's time! Tung's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Tung rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Kong throws a lazy right hand but Tung sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kong dodges the punch combination from Tung.
As Tung backs off Kong throws a huge counter combo but Tung manages to avoid it all.

A combination from Tung does no damage.
Tung misses with a double jab
and Kong counters with a nice uppercut.

Tung swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kong counters with a series of strikes. Tung will be more careful next time no doubt.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Kiniiii Kong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
