letting Kearney counter with a right hand.

That was a close round but I would say that Patrick Kearney will probably get the nod.

and Kearney counters with a huge left! Ihantala is in big trouble! He's backing up but Kearney isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Ihantala from any more damage. A dominating finish by Kearney!

A relieved looking Patrick Kearney thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
