The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ironfeld throws a series of punches but Nightmare avoids them all with ease.
Nightmare was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Ironfeld jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Theros Ironfeld seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ironfeld ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ironfeld keeps the fight on the outside.
Ironfeld tries to bum rush Nightmare with a series of wild strikes but Nightmare uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ironfeld takes a swing at Nightmare's ribcage but misses.
Ironfeld misses with an uppercut.
Ironfeld lands a head shot.
Ironfeld lands with a right hand.
Ironfeld throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ironfeld takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Theros Ironfeld has been cut.

Nightmare lands a jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nightmare throws a looping overhand right but Ironfeld ducks down to avoid it.
Nightmare is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ironfeld.
Ironfeld throws a big shot that misses.
Ironfeld uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nightmare.
Nightmare uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ironfeld.

Nightmare throws a body shot but no joy.
Ironfeld tests Nightmare's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ironfeld uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nightmare.
A swing and a miss from Ironfeld.

Nightmare feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ironfeld sprawling to the canvas! Ironfeld rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nightmare finish him?!

Ironfeld is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ironfeld takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ironfeld is still on wobbly legs! Can Nightmare finish him?
Ironfeld drops his hands momentarily. Nightmare doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Ironfeld staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Ironfeld doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Last Nightmare!
Our winner, Last Nightmare, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
In defeat, Theros Ironfeld stepped up to the mic, saying 'Came in here thinking I could get a chance at that belt, but when the pieces don't fit, the Blacksmith goes back to the forge. I'll be back.'.
