The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guru keeps the fight on the outside.
Guru looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Guru swats away the attempt to clinch by Panda.

Panda tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Guru paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Panda shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Guru wants to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Guru can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Guru tries to kick Panda off in order to stand up. Panda Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Guru is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Guru is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Panda has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Guru is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Panda yanks on the arm and Guru is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Panda.
